What types of wood are in your Pizza mix:
Thorn tree species are exceptional firewood because they burn slowly and produce excellent heat with minimal smoke. The coals that are created after burning are perfect for all types of wood-fired pizza ovens. Due to the different diameters (30-60mm ) of the logs, there is always a small log to find to start the fire, and then with the larger logs to keep the fire nicely under control.
The Pizza Mix wood types add a mild aroma that gives a delicate , delicious taste to your dishes prepared in your pizza oven.
-Blue-Thorn Acacia (Blue Hook): A versatile tree that can grow small to medium and can reach 10 metres in height. It often appears shrubby and thrives in woodland and dry thorn fields;
-Black-Thorn Acacia (Black Hook): A compact tree that can grow up to 5 meters tall. It is characterized by its blackish bark and dense, stiff, spiny branches, making it a striking addition to any landscape.
-Red-Thorn Acacia (Red Hook): This small tree also grows to 5 metres tall and has reddish-brown to grey-black bark that is noticeably rough and furrowed, adding a unique texture to its appearance.

-The restoration of natural plants and grasses .
-The restoration of food for game and livestock .
-Restoring the natural habitat of animals such as cheetahs .
The Situation:
One of the biggest problems in Namibia is the decline of forest quality. The overgrowth of the Savannah by various fast growing shrubs/trees. At the moment about 45 million hectares are plagued by dense vegetation, which indicates a problem that is escalating rapidly in all respects.
The solution:
The careful thinning of the bushes by means of selective harvesting is aimed at restoring these affected areas. This process transforms bushes and shrubs into valuable biomass products such as firewood, kindling blocks, kindling and charcoal. The aim is to economically utilise the biomass that is released by the targeted clearing of bushes.
Caloric Value Analysis :
On average, European wood species yield 4.23 kWh/kg and Namibian wood species 5.53 kWh/kg. This indicates that Namibian wood yields on average 30% more energy per kilogram.
Advantages:
- More energy stored in a smaller surface area.
-Less transport of non-flammable and smoke-producing water
-Better burning wood for a longer burning time.
-Heating more efficiently with less wood and effort.
